She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer when she was just 15 years old, and she had to quit school for two whole years. During the period of her treatment, she kept on top of her academic schedule and made sure she didn't fall behind. Her inquisitive mind made her curious about her disease, and the time she spent in the hospital made her fall in love with medicine. Following her treatment, she returned straight back to school, without taking the opportunity to repeat a year, and she worked hard to earn a place in one of the most competitive medical schools in the UK. She then excelled in her A-levels, receiving the highest-grade in Chemistry A-level in her school. Whilst in University she kept up the hard work, and her incredible work ethic led her to achieving Honours in her pre-clinical examinations.
Georgia has also worked as a UCAT tutor for Achievemed for two consecutive years, after achieving a top-decile UCAT score herself. She has received incredible feedback on her abilities as a tutor, and a mentor, for any aspiring medics.
