An intensive training program designed to prepare medical school candidates for medical interviews, including multiple mini-interviews (MMI) and panel assessments. Learn from a Cambridge-trained doctor with over a decade of experience preparing successful medical school applicants in Cyprus and the UK. Our curriculum covers personal motivation, clinical ethics, and current healthcare issues through focused interactive scenarios. It is ideal for any secondary school student applying to medical schools requiring interviews, including the UK, Ireland and Greece (English-taught program). What you'll learn: ● Developing a compelling answer to "Why Medicine?" ● Discussing your experiences confidently ● NHS and healthcare systems: key concepts every applicant should know ● Medical ethics and professionalism ● Communication skills for difficult conversations ● Current healthcare issues and medical news ● Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) strategies ● Traditional panel interview techniques ● Common interview questions and model frameworks The course format: ● The course is expected to last a full day (Saturday) and will take place online in November 2026. ● Course dates and times are currently provisional and will be confirmed before enrolment. ● Places are intentionally limited to encourage interaction and maximise opportunities for individual feedback. Please note: ● Course delivered live online via Microsoft Teams ● Participants will receive electronic course materials before the session. ● Active participation is encouraged, including speaking during interactive practice. ● The curriculum is designed to reflect common themes used by UK, Irish and European medical schools but is not affiliated with any university or admissions body. ● Course content may be updated to reflect changes in medical school admissions. ● Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. ● If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the organiser reserves the right to reschedule the course or offer a full refund. The course does not include individual mock interviews or personalised feedback.
