Engineering Admissions Assessment

(University of Cambridge)

The Engineering Admissions Assessment (ENGAA) is a two-hour written multiple-choice exam taken by prospective undergraduate Cambridge Engineering applicants. The assessment is designed to be challenging in order to differentiate effectively between very able students. A high score in this examination significantly boosts the chances of securing a place at Cambridge.

This course is designed to push applicants to reach their maximum potential and excel in a time-pressured exam that requires the use and application of their knowledge in mathematics and physics. It includes a quick revision of syllabus already covered in school as well as a comprehensive overview of topics and concepts unfamiliar to applicants. Key to succeeding in the ENGAA is mastering timing while tackling extremely intellectually challenging questions. This will be achieved through the exposure of candidates to long hours of practice during the course combined with extensive score boosting strategies and time-saving techniques.

Our course hence includes:

  • 25 hours of tuition

  • Interactive lessons

  • ENGAA guide book for revision, practice and strategy building

  •  Follow-up mocks and feedback

  • On-going support until the day of the exam

Natural Sciences Admissions Assessment (University of Cambridge)

The University of Cambridge has recently introduced a pre-interview written assessment into its entry requirements for their Natural Sciences course which mainly tests your Math and Science skills, the Natural Sciences Admissions Assessment (NSAA)

Students need to sit 3 modules out of their 5 options; Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, Advanced Physics & Maths. This usually depends on what kind of Natural sciences they aspire to follow; e.g. People applying for Biological Natural Sciences tend to choose Biology, Mathematics and Chemistry, whilst those applying for Physical Natural Sciences tend to choose Physics and Mathematics.

In Achievemed we offer the opportunity for students to be taught as many of the 5 modules as they prefer, as we provide comprehensive teaching and resources for each one.

What we offer is:

  • Tuition on either 3, 4 or 5 modules of your choice

  • In 25-30 contact hours

  • Interactive lessons

  • NSAA guide book for revision, practice and strategy building

  • On-going support until the day of the exam
